Are you ready for it?
I intended to create a magazine spread that truly exemplifies the dark, edgy nature of Taylor Swift's sixth studio album, Reputation. After researching and writing, I started planning the layout of the page. Fans of Swift know that this era was a defining turning point in the artist's career, mainly characterized by serpents, sass and sequins. I aimed to use an adequate amount of contrast to further emphasize the singer's new valiant-with-a-vendetta persona, while also ensuring the article remains legible. Another goal I had was to fit as much information within the pages as possible, without overdoing it to the point where the composition felt crowded.
